History

VEDAMAN Consultants Limited (VEDAMAN) was first incorporated as a Partnership in 1999, and was, later in 2007, registered as a limited liability company under the Laws of Kenya. VEDAMAN is fully owned and managed by indigenous Kenyans

VEDAMAN consists of highly qualified multi-disciplinary professional consultants who have carried out various projects for organizations such as ILLRI, FAO, World Vision International, African Development Bank (ADB)

VEDAMAN achievements over the past years include

• Evaluation of more than 30 community development projects in Kenya, Somalia, Sudan, Tanzania and Uganda;
• Conducted 2 feasibility studies;
• Facilitated several workshops/conferences in Kenya;
• Carried out three major studies in Kenya and Sudan in livestock management sector.

Management & Consulting Team

VEDAMAN has a seven (7) member Board of Directors (4 women and 3 men), The day to day operations are guided by the Team Leader/Managing Consultant who leads a Secretariat of (4) staff members, and nine (9) Consultants on a needs-basis/locum. As part of its corporate responsibility, VEDAMAN also hosts and trains interns in animal health, ICT, management and administration.
